Valerie Wright

Valerie Wright is the co-founder of Sunrise Blends, a family-owned wellness drink company based in Chico, California.

Raised in Gridley, California, she danced, performed, and choreographed through high school and college. Her start in business came earlier, working the family hot dog cart at Lake Almanor, which helped pay her way through college. She earned a bachelor's degree in business, management, marketing, and entrepreneurship from California State University, Chico.

For over a decade she has worked in fitness, as a personal trainer, a Stroller Strides franchise owner, and a Pilates instructor, where nutrition has always been part of the conversation with the women she works with. She still teaches part time at Simply Pilates in Chico. In 2012, she started and ran Cavewoman Confections, a paleo-friendly, grain-free, refined-sugar-free bakery, for three years.

Alongside her wellness work, Valerie has built a career in marketing and advertising, and is currently a partner at B2B Bandits. Over the years she has supported countless health, wellness, and food companies with their marketing and advertising.

Valerie co-founded Sunrise Blends in 2024 after using blended green drinks to recover from a debilitating back injury.
